UNCF•MERCK Science Research Scholarships and Fellowships
These awards are intended to help African American undergraduate students who are interested in science to further their science education and potentially pursue science careers.
AAAS Minority Science Writers Internship
This opportunity is designed for students who are interested in pursuing a career in science journalism. The internship is open to any minority undergraduate with a serious interest in science writing. Preference will be given to those students pursuing a degree in journalism. You must be enrolled in an academic program at the time you submit your application.
American Chemical Society Scholars Program
For graduating high school seniors, college freshman, sophomore or junior intending to or already majoring in chemistry, biochemistry, chemical engineering or a chemically-related science and planning a career in the chemical sciences or chemical technologyStudents intending to enter pre-med programs or pursing a degree in pharmacy are not eligible for this scholarship.
APIASF/United Health Foundation Asian Health Scholarship
This is a two-year scholarship for $2,500 per year designed to provide financial assistance to for incoming college Asian and Pacific Islander freshmen who plan to pursue a degree that will lead to a career in the health field.
Barry M. Goldwater Scholarship and Excellence in Education Program
Scholarships for college students who intend to pursue careers in science, math, or engineering.
Blandy Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) Program
Undergraduate research fellowships for students interested in ecology and environmental science.
Catching The Dream MESBEC Program
The MESBEC program is the oldest of CTD's programs providing scholarships for high-potential Native American students in Math, Engineering, Science, Business, Education, and Computers (MESBEC). Must be enrolled in a federally recognized, state recognized, or terminated tribe in the U.S.
